Types of Champagne
-
This is probably something super obvious, but I want some clarification.
There's classic champagne (E?/aa), amber champagne (E?/A?), gold champagne (ee/??), and then there's sable champagne? What is sable champagne? Is that brown plus champagne (versus amber which is bay?)?
I've searched the different champagne types a couple of times and scratched my head about it, but I would love some clarification so I can stop guessing.

Yes, sable champagne is a brown with champagne and amber is a bay with champagne. Not sure if it's not working quite the same as it was before the brown update, though, or if any are mislabeled right now.

From my understanding "i may be wrong" the sable champagne is your dark based brown champagne. So this one probably has hom DP and hom Sty with little to no lightening genes. I used to breed them when i first started the game. But something does seem different. :-? So your gold champagne is chestnut based so no E or EE.
Amber is your bay based champagne so they have to carry at least 1 copy of E. Sable was with at least 1 brown gene and classic champagne is your black based champagne. So no A or AA .Post edited by Brandybrookes at 2022-10-29 18:59:57
