Hom Snow doesn't show Closed
-
What is hiding this one's snow, and what other things can hide snow when it's hom? Rerolling the image didn't help, I tried a few times.

And I removed Lp lol. Thanks.

If you wanted to remove the appy spots without removing the appy so the snowflake would show, you would have needed to remove the PATN, but since both parents are hom for it it's not possible.Thanked by 1OopsDotCom

So try breeding it with a horse that has no appy? I tried all the things i could think of to do with appy but couldn't find one that worked.

There's nothing that can be edited on that particular horse to get the snowflake to show more, but try breeding to a horse with appy but without PATN. Appy (LP) is what you need to get the other appy related genes (snowflake and PATN) to show. PATN controls the blanket size. This horse is hom for PATN which is why it's a leopard appy. One PATN would result in a blanket just on the rump (slightly more or less depending on other hidden factors) and no PATN would be an appy with no blanket at all. That's when you'll be able to see snowflake markings all over the coat. If you want true breeding horses like that, breed for hom snowflake, hom LP, and no PATN. The nice thing about breeding for that is you don't have to worry about the hom LP creating a pure white blanket with no spots, because without PATN, the blanket doesn't show at all anyway.Thanked by 1OopsDotCom

You can reduce blanket size by removing one or both PATN1. It'll get the Snowflake to show more like the mare Fiddler posted.Thanked by 1OopsDotCom

I tried, but it wouldn't let me because of the parents. Unless I did something wrong.
