Question on merging horses

Editing rq since I read for foundation horses not 2g
Turning this question into something else, but I'd still like to know the outcome. If I merge a foundation stallion to another lesser quality stallion, will the... base stallion...(Idk what to call it lol) have to go through testing again?
And is there chance he'll lose what he use to be and be of lesser quality?Post edited by BarnRaised at 2022-10-01 19:33:52 -
I think the stallion that you do the editing from will be the base stallion, and the resulting chimera will be the same quality. Only the color genetics from the secondary horse are incorporated into the chimera, not breeding or showing ability. Not sure if it will need to be retested or not though, but all other qualities will be the same as the first horse.
