Fiddlers Flame
Fiddlers Flame was born in July, in my 5th month of being a member of H&B. I was so excited, she was so beautiful, not like any of the foals I’d ever seen. She took me right back to 1972, when I drove 300 miles to see an Arabian filly for sale. The one I could afford was lackluster, but they had a filly at that ranch named Sienna who took my breath away . They wanted $6000 for Sienna, way higher than what I could afford at that time in my life. Of course, being an Arab horse, it wasn’t her color that struck me; but my reaction to that filly was exactly the same as with my pixel pony.
Fiddlers Flame did not pass SBA, but max out was brand new, and I knew this would be her fate. Sure enough, she maxed right into a Star and Consistent mare. And I watched her grow and learned about her color (and yeah, I bought some more) but none of them are pretty as she is. I’m still left with the dilemma, who to breed her to. I have some straws from some other red dun horses but none of them are gold and I hate to be disappointed.
Besides her amazing mane and tail, I particularly love the bars on her legs. I always thought those were wonderful amazing markings and combined with her mane and tail, she’s a striking mare indeed..Post edited by Fiddler at 2022-10-04 09:52:27 -
Congratulations on a lovely mare and such great success with the new Max Out feature!
Psst--Mares are Gold; stallions at that breeding level are *Star. -
@sandycreekacres, oops, I fixed it!
