If I'm being completely honest, I am really struggling with this account. I've been uninspired by my breeding goals and just not particularly excited about my herd...

I've been breeding for red-based (ee) ponies. I have many that I really like! But I just am not excited about the foals. I don't know why.

I'm considering starting a brand new breeding project, potentially mass geld/spaying and starting over... but I need inspiration.

So... what are you excited about currently?

I love my new line of silver smoky grullos with sooty+. They're amazing ever since the cream update, even better than my favorite brown line before. Here's my new herd sire and a couple of my favorite babies out of him.

I've been really getting into the variations of the liver red dun and chocolate palomino,both with & without mushroom and the dun factors

Loving all of the cream and S+! Maybe I'll do something with that. I'll have to see what matches I have in my barn already- I definitely have some chocolate palominos that will fit!

I'm really loving my fantasy lines right now! I recently added Wrong Warp and I just love how it makes them pop! This is my favorite baby from last season's fantasy line crop:

Over on Mesa I breed red based horses with at least one copy of cream (Palomino) and/or one copy of Sooty. My absolute favourites are the Chocolate Palominos.

On this server I have just started breeding a dedicated line of Bay horses. The diversity you can get with the addition of other genes is fantastic. These are just a representative few from the same sire.

Gray champagnes since the gray update are really amazing. The hyperpigmentation makes them really shiny and metallic. All of mine have grayed out too much now, but here are a few good examples I found in the search. I'm planning on getting some gray reduction into my own line so the base coat lasts longer. I also think champagne with other lightening genes like cream and dun looks amazing too, especially with gray!

@SeahorseFarms honestly same when he and Bronze Ritz popped up I about lost it. I wasn't expecting it from their sire's genetics, but I think his grey and pearl works with the champagne. Ever since the update, champagne has combined so well to grey with pearl. I hope to see it around more often.

Personally, I like roans- especially when they're homozygous. Red and blue roans the most.

I like Shatterglass and Watercolor. They're good together as well. I enjoy heterozygous nexus bays with sooty.
