Question regarding Boosting
-
So, I have been thinking about this a bit, and am considering using a boost or 2 in my higher generations but, If I was to boost a colt to become a "higher" Star so he goes from AGA to sire to SUP to sire; are his foals going to only be able to be AGA and not SUP unless I boost them also ?
Thanks to whomever takes the time to help me out on thisPost edited by annismyrph at 2022-10-14 15:14:14 -
his foals should inherit his new awesomenessThanked by 1annismyrph

As I understand it, that really depends on what Star level he is already. If he's a lower star, you boost him, and then breed him to mares of a similar caliber to his boosted self, you should get some really great foals, some of which may even test superior. If he's at or very near the breeding ability cap and you boost him over that line, none of his offspring will test superior or even AGA, no matter how good their dams are, unless you boost each foal. I don't think they would pass breeding advice either. No horse can go past that cap unless boosted.Post edited by MackZ at 2022-10-14 21:45:10Might be addicted to pixel ponies...
