GE Question about Selling/Giving Horses w/ Closed Gene Licenses
-
Hi, all! I have a question about selling/giving horses within the Gift Exchange that I'm fairly certain I know the answer to, but I want to double-check and make sure I'm not missing anything before I reply back to them:
A gifter participating in the Gift Exchange messaged to ask if they could purchase a couple of my horses. However, while their giftee has licenses for the closed genes each of these horses has, the gifter who messaged me does not. Is there any way for me to give these horses to that player if they do not have the closed gene licenses themselves? Thanks in advance for any help!

The gifter will not be able to purchase them. They can arrange for you to sell directly to their giftee though and pay you via hbs transfer or purchase of a sales horse."Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving." - PTerry Pratchett

Right! I thought there was a loophole, I just couldn't remember exactly what it was. Though I can't remember how the selling to the giftee works in order for it to be a surprise/work within the bounds of the GE. Or is there not a "secret" way to do this?

I think you would generally put the horses in a chat for 1 HB and message the giftee and let them know it's from their gifter, that way it's still protecting that identity till the endStarstruck2 on Bluegrass and Forest

Yes, I have paid for several horses to be delivered directly to my giftee since I don't have certain licenses.
