    Can licenses be given/transferred if you give a straw that is from a foundation with the license?

    Am pretty sure it has to be On a Fooundation horse, you cant use straws you dont have the license for.

    If you did not buy the license to gift it for the gift exchange you can not send it. You can't double dip and get a license for yourself, use it in your own barn, and then gift it. People don't have "extra" licenses to gift. They used those licenses already for their own account. The license transfer is for gifting new licenses you just got not for recycling ones you have already used.

    So any of my own horses that are foundations with a particular gene, for example a phantom, the gene doesn't transfer?

    it will on a Foundie, BUT be aware if you only own 1 license you are sending that through also , so you won't be able to breed any lined horses you have either.
