I bought a copy of jewel box to put on the horse linked below and have bred to him. However, tonight I tried to using some eggs I pulled and got the message saying I didn't have the gene license to use them. I have NOT sold the horse I put the gene on, what happened?

I checked my owned licenses and sure enough, I don't have that gene somehow. I only bought it for this one horse so I'm not sure where my license went? Is there anyway it can be reissued? I can't afford to pay for a whole new copy :-((

Edit to add: I've even bred him before and have foals that have the jewel box gene.
