    This filly has blue papers but her PT is lower than most of my red mares. She passed sba. Is she good for breeding (if I liked her genetics)

    I believe she would be good for breeding, yes. PT and papers are independent, as PT is just for showing ability and papers just for breeding ability. (Someone please correct me if I’m wrong lol)

    Shes also unevenly bred - her sire is a 3rd gen A with Max breeding ability, her dam is a perfect foundation yellow. @RedtailFoxFarm has it right too that paper level and Pt are independent too.

    Unevenly bred doesnt have anything to do with her breeding ability either, in case you were wondering. Yes, to what the others said. I have a few horses like this, and they throw wonderful babies
