Stop Expiring Straws?
-
I have a few older horses with 1 currently marked on their straws, does this mean I lose them at the new year? Is there a way to prevent this?
I bred mares with some of the straws this year but they still say 1, will I lose those too? -
If you used the straw and still have the embryo then no the embryo doesnt expire. I dont think there is a way to stop it. I would use up all the straws. You can still do this during this period, just not implant them, provided you have eggs of course
-
It can't be stopped. They must be used before the end of the year.Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

What about the ones that I have yearlings from currently? Aren't they supposed to reset to 5 if there are living offspring? Or did that change?
-
That has never been a thing. You can not reset expiring straws.Need to contact me? Read this first.
