Exceptional producers

    Are exceptional producers also good at showing or should I stick with the herd helpers that specifically say they're good at showing?

    Exceptional producers are only guaranteed exceptional breeding ability. They might be terrible showers. Only exceptional show horses and exceptionally perfect are guaranteed a PT higher than 9.9 but I think only exceptionally perfect is guaranteed a PT of exactly 10.4. Exceptional show horses can be anything from 10 to 10.4.

    Exceptional Producers can have a good, mediocre, or low PT score. They're not guaranteed to be good showing horses. They will, however, produce good show horses. So which herd helpers you want to use depends on your goals.
