trying to understand leaderboards
  • So under Points Earned by Foundation Horses, I find my mare, Flippant Retort listed as #20 on the era 14 leaderboard with 20 points.
However, my stallion Second Wind, who currently has 40 points is not even on the list.
    I don't understand.
below you can see my two horses. Can anyone explain this?

  • The Leaderboards are a huge mystery LOL that I kinda gave up on.
I was trying for the snowflake LB, but it was getting to point of removing the fun of the game as I tried to get up there.
I don't have the funds to be constantly boosting foundations or comp testing everything. I do comp test 2nd gens, and strict test everything and compare to dam and sire ... but I don't GMT the missing gene that would get them on the Breeders club .... have hom snowflakes but no LP ... ahhhh LOL
So now its breed, do the testing and throw them in the clubs ... if they get there, they get there, and is usually a huge surprise :D

  • You should be going for eras. They are honestly the most fun way to do the LBs and are boosting-free.

  • I have had great success with eras. I test and cull my primary Era-based line heavily, and they have done very well. It's a fun challenge
