I was trying to max two colts I just bred. One maxed successfully, the other says that I cannot update the ability of this horse again. I only have 1 set of 5gmt taken out of my receipts, and this foal is not maxed on it's page. Is this a bug, or is the foal actually the greatest outcome from the parents? I've never had this happen yet. When I navigate to the max ability page, the unsuccessful foal is still available on the list to attempt.
