Creating a project stallion

    So i got this idea, to create a stallion who is a snowflake but doesn't carry the genes that might cause a blanket. I tried new creates, and every single one had patn1 and some of the hidden genes too.
    So next i did a search for foundation rescue horses without patn1, and found just a few. They are all mares.
    So it looks like they'll need LP and right now snowflake is on sale.
    Did i miss something?

    Here are my 2 non Lp non PATN1 HOM snowflake studs ; you need Lp to make them Appies or they wont go on the boards :) and Lp doesnt neccessarily mean they will have blankets ; several of mine dont

    yeah, snow/snow without LP --- no dots. I get that. But I guess what i'm asking, is this a good strategy to get there, to make the coveted perfect snowflake horse? I had big hopes for Solemn and Still but mine was a leopard.
    Are there other Rank specials that that might work better than "perfect foundations"?
    I was surprised at how much PATN1 there is dispersed in the "wild" population.
