Is the dam ***gold papered as well? And if the colt is already max ability, you won't be charged, so it can't really go entirely to waste. Do you care about boosting the PT or just the breeding ability?

Well his numbers didn't change and my tokensgot spent, so hopefully he's a little better than he had been

using Max Ability means the stats will change to the highest that the parent pair could have produced, it changes both breeding and showing. Boosting means to boost the breeding ability of your horse regardless of parent ability (and reduce Era by one).

Reducing an era by 1: what happens if a horse is 0 era?

So do you max first then boost, or do you boost first then max?
