So this horse has been in the ribbons plenty before with her previous owner, but hasn’t been in the game years since I bought her. Simply based on the fact that she’s leveled off at 8W and places 1st in almost every show, I would have expected her to at least be on the leaderboard for some of the breeder clubs she’s in, but she isn’t currently on any of them and hasn’t been since I bought her. I show all my horses regularly, so it shouldn’t be that. I have other horses performing about the same that are on the leaderboards, so I’m a little perplexed as to why this one isn’t. Is this a glitch or is this horse not doing as well as I think she is compared to other show ponies?

It looks like she leveled off the month before you bought her, prior to that she was ( and still is ) showing well. Now that she is leveled off she isnt pulling in points as quickly, which might be preventing her from hitting the leaderboards as well as some of the younger horses still training and gaining points. IMO she is an awesome showhorse still earning her keep, I am not sure why the leaderboards are an issue? Unless you bought her for that reason? At her age her daily payout is almost 500hb's, That is the reason to keep her, the only criteria I have for my showhorses is they must have over 500points when they hit 10. Other than that I just sit back and let them earn for my breeding stock.

@annismyrph The leaderboards aren’t really an issue, I was just curious because I have other horses that are on leaderboards that perform about the same as this one. I’m keeping this pony regardless

Here’s a show pony I have that’s around the same age and places about the same but leveled off at 7W, and it’s regularly on the leaderboards

Besides, her gathering points shouldn’t be impacted by her leveling off since she leveled off at 8W instead of, say, 8L, in which case it’d make perfect sense

She has had 2 less showings this month compared to the leaderboard horses. If she had had those extra shows, she would have placed close to the top! Her max amount of shows she could have entered this month was 10, but only was in 8 (depends what days of the week you have shown her in).

You can just look at her page and tell. She had 302.0 points this year. In her clubs you need 342, 340 338, or 352 points respectively to get on the board. No mystery, she doesn't have enough points.
