    If you give a stallion a breeding boost, do you have to breed him to higher papered mares to get foals that pass breeding inspection? Like if he is a B will he be superior to all his foals from red mares?

    There will definitely be more foals neutered from lower grade mares

    B is a red papered mare ; you might have problems ( lower pasing ) of boys from Yellow papered mares

    He will still produce better foals than unboosted, just not as good as if he was bred to mares his quality.
