All this time I had it in my head that the cost of cloning was in GMTs and I wondered how on earth people were affording that? Today I finally read more closely and ... it's priced in IVs, not GMTS. :P

Now that I realize that I can actually consider doing some cloning. :D

I didn't realize this either, so I just went to check. I was able to clone my 18 year old top 2nd gen stallion (my only 11 PT 2A boy) for 1 IV! Unfortunately, he only tested a 10.9, and I couldn't GMT off his Vrn or LPP2 like I had hoped. A minor pity party.

I'm glad you brought this up, as I could lose some valuable boys to rollover.
