I have decided that this first week of summer is a good time to share some of the horses from my high PT line to help pay forward the help I got when I was a new member. Until July 1, anyone who started playing after April 1, 2015 is eligible for this give-a-way. If there are any herds unclaimed after July 1, I will open it up to anyone who started this year.

The first 5 new members who post will each receive a 2 or 3 year old *star papered stallion who compares about as good as a stallion with an average foal PT of 13.03 and 4 *gold papered mares ranging in age from 6 to 11 who also have average foal PTs in the upper 12's to lower 13's. In addition to their breeding potential, each herd will immediately add about 1480-1750 points toward your weekly showing bonus.

Before you post for one of these herds, please be sure you have 5 stalls available, and 2500hb to purchase them (since the minimum sale price the game allows is 500hb). Also I would ask that you only request one of these herds if you intend to keep and use them. They are intended as a long term investment, not a source of quick sale money.

You may choose which herd you would like on a first come first served basis. Please request your horses by the herd number, no swapping of mares between herds.

Leiana, I will be opening up the eligibility on this offer on July 1. I figured that I would give the newest members a full week before allowing older players a chance at them. Since 2 people who started last December have expressed interest, I think I will open it up to anyone who started since December 1, 2014.

So I excitedly bred my totally awesome herd that I got from Lake Ondowa Farms and got these beauties. I bred them to the Stallion that came with them as I wasn't sure how many gens they were and haven't had the sit down time to go over their lines and familiarize myself with them. All passed their testing and just waiting for the moneies to come in so I can do the rest of the testing. Thank you so much at the chance of these wonderful mares and stud.

@Corvus -- when horses have lines that long, most people won't count anymore :) Some stop counting when the pedigree is full, others keep track for a longer amount of time, but the highest generation I've seen anyone keeping track of is eight. Some of my long-lined horses are very uneven, but they still give me great show horses and quite a few that I'll continue breeding just to see what I'll end up with. When quality is more important than even generations, your best bet is to breed horses of similar quality together for the best quality foals :)
