Yes. And the larger the number of rerolls accumulated increases your odds of getting a rank special, but activating a HH resets the roll count to 0.

It resets the roll count and you have to start over rerolling to build up to the point where you easily get the rare ones again. I used to activate and share ones I didn't really need just in case someone else wanted them until I realized that. Now I'll leave my browser session open for the whole week and accumulate free rerolls until I'm getting close to the automatic rank special roll. Then I'll go ahead and activate the first herd helper that catches my eye just before the rank special roll day since I'll probably activate that anyway and clear my accumulated rolls.

You get 5 free ones, you can continue rolling after that but it costs. 2000 for now, usually it's more.

@Fiddler If you don't close your browser, your reroll count doesn't reset and the five rerolls the next day can be added to it. I did that for two weeks once when I wasn't interested in the rank special herd helper that happened to roll that week (it was Shades of Pale or something) so I just kept accumulating rerolls until I had 60 or so without having to pay for even one. Until yesterday because I was hoping for something specific, I had never paid for rerolls except accidentally when I wasn't paying attention and kept clicking after I'd already gone through the free ones.

You could do the ordinary create instead of the HH reroll create, then you wouldn't use your reroll at all, if all you want to do is fish and save up your rolls at the same time. My computer goes to sleep if I'm not active on it and doesn't keep the rerolls available. I don't know how to change it so it's just always on. My previous computer was always on, but I don't have a clue what the setting is called to go search for it.

If anyone knows how to change it, I'd prefer it not to go to sleep. It annoys me always having to log back in when I stepped away for a few minutes.
