Chimera management?
-
If I change the chimera management, and make it so that only one strand is passed on, am I correct to assume that that will eliminate whatever the extra percentage chance he has of creating chimera foals? That will take him down to whatever the percent chance that a non-chimera would have of creating a chimera foal?
-
He'll still be a chimera, so I think you still have the exact same chance to throw a chimera, just no chance of throwing whatever genes are on the strand you set to 0% heritability.
-
No. Adjusting the inheritance percentage from one set of DNA to another does not change the chance of chimeric foals.Post edited by Ammit at 2023-06-17 22:19:53Need to contact me? Read this first.
