How does leaderboard AFPT work?

For example, this mare is #1 with 10 foals, and an AFPT of 9.98:

My mare is #2, with 12 foals and an AFPT of 10.08:

Is the scoring based off something other than their listed AFPT? -
AFPT is not the primary factor in LB ranking. The exact formula is secret. AFPT is too easy to artificially manipulate.Need to contact me? Read this first.
