Why did gr not reduce the grey on this horse? Answered

It will stay lowercase, that's how it is shown in the gene testing results. Here's my mare who is Hom gr/gr

The GMT page says this about grey reduction "Each copy of the gray reduction gene slows the graying out process on gray horses while still showing hyperpigmentation." Two copies will slow down greying out faster.
