Cradle Cap
-
Hey all. My daughter has cradle cap, and she's nearly 10 months old. What would be very effective in putting a stop to the baby dandruff?
The doctor said to bathe her every other day, but that's not working. -
When my children were babies (they are in their 20s now!) I used to buy a commercial product specifically for cradle cap. I live in Britain so if you are in a different country I don't know if you can get a similar product. It used to work fairly well although it didn't clear up the dandruff completely. I think an old remedy was rubbing the scalp with olive oil - you could try that as I don't think it could do any harm. If it's any consolation, they do grow out of it.

Oh ok, thanks.

Have you checked online for information. Here's one page that talks about using oil to help, with specific instructions for doing it correctly.
