Does the parent of a horse not bred by me affect the foal's breed?

    If the parent of my foal was bred by someone else (I bought the parent and bred it to my horse of my breed) can the foal be set to my breed? Or does the horse need to have parents only from my own breed?

    The foal will automatically be born your breed and you can change it to another one of your breeds if you want. The only time a foal will inherit a breed that isn't yours is if you breed two horses together that are someone else's breed (and those horses are the same breed).
