New "halter" setup

I don't actually have a horse. I don't know how a halter is supposed to fit, what to look for. The question for the ones who do, does this look right?

That cheek piece! It's driving me nuts. 8-} I can't piece enough to get it to work. I might just leave it for a while. I like them dressed up with at least halters and full manes. :-? Eventually. And in the meantime ^:)^ thank you for the pretties!
