What determines when/how you gain experience points for your account and are there ways to backtrack? Mine seem to bounce all over the place but mostly backwards. For example, this account is almost 4 months old but it says I have gained only 2 points. I know I've seen it down in the lower 90's or upper 80's before....

You gain experience when you breed horses and you loose it when you yum them. Mine is back at 100 to go as well after all the horses I've sent to auction.

I have been out of the game for a while now so it could have changed since the last time I played but I don't think you can loose experience points. The reason why it may seem like you are loosing points is because once it reaches 100 points it will bump you to the next stable level and start you back at 0 again. And you gain experience points by breeding foals.

Nope. You can lose them. You lose points every time you send a horse through public auction.

But you are also right, Merry Mount, that once you gain 100 points at one prestige level you move up to the next one and the points needed is once again set at 100. Both breeding and creating foals add experience points.

Yumming them doesn't lose the points, selling them at auction does
