What keeps you from posting it on the wiki?

    I have noticed people really don't want to work on the wiki and will even make huge guides on the forum but won't put them on the wiki. What keeps you from posting it on the wiki? My hunch is the software sucks but I want to hear it from members.

    It was the images not uploading properly that brought my progress to a halt. I've been meaning to try breaking my posts down into smaller posts to see if that helps, but other work has kept my schedule full. The software looked like it should have been good until we started using it. Now I'm thinking maybe we should have gone with MediaWiki or DokuWiki. Both are more powerful and allow more options, including sort-able charts which is something I thought could be really handy.

    DokuWiki is simpler which might be better, and I like that it doesn't use a database which can help with security.

    For me it's because I keep forgetting it's there and I'm used to using the forum for everything. :\">

    When I looked at the how to post information, there were a lot of rules about format and grammar, things like that. It meant I was going to have to really sit down and dedicate a day to take everything I posted on the forum, and reformat it to the wiki. And honestly if I'm going to spend a day doing that on the computer, I'd rather be playing the game.

    The rules were created by other members. Maybe they are off-putting and should be scrapped in favor of getting people just to use the dang thing at all.

    My main reason is a personal one lol. I don't know if my.laptop.works cause I haven't used it in 2 years. Plus I'm mostly clueless lol. I also thought it was abandoned and wasn't sure if people were allowed to help with it or if it was a staff only thing. Now I'm gonna have to find my laptop this weekend.
