I havent been playing lately because I have been taking care of my husband. Today we found out that his cancer has spread and that hospice is his best option. He has been my best friend for 17 years, my confidant, my cheerleader, and I am those things for him as well. I just do not even know how to accept this yet I must make decisions that are in his best interest.

Please just send prayers and/or good energy my way so that I can survive this because right now, I am not doing too good.

I am so sorry. Don't forget to take care of yourself as well even though it is really hard to think about that right now. I hope his time is as comfortable as possible given the circumstances and that he knows how much he is loved.

OH wow hun! Cancer is incredably hard , especially towards the end. I pray for you and him. I hope his passing is easy and not drawn out. Please know we all have your back and can offer a shoulder if needed. The next few weeks and months are going to be incredably difficult, but you Are Strong. And you will get through it eventually! Your family is firmly in my prayers, and I will send "good vibrations and energy" your way.

I'm so sorry to hear your news. You and your husband will be in my prayers, and I'll add the two of you to my parish's prayer list as well. I hope that hospice care will make his last days as easy as is possible. I know how much home hospice care meant to my mother's last days when her cancer carried her away.

Oh my goodness, this is so hard. I am sorry for your loss. Please, if you need someone to talk to about any of this, I lost my husband to cancer too.
One of the things that happened is some people I was close to got distant, and others got closer. Hugs.

ohh No , with cancer ( I ve lost many toomany family members to this horrible thing ) I ve found it "easier" for the patient anyway when they go faster rather than slowly. Its SO hard to navigate either way for the family members, just know you and your faily are in myprayers and thoughts through this holiday season.
