Clarification on breeding BC's

I have purchased the Polish Arabian and Friesian BC's.
On reading up on BC's it seems I have to create my own breed in order for them to breed true. Polish Arabian to Polish Arabian results in Polish Arabian.
Is this correct?
Also, when creating new foundations, is there a way to create with the new BC instead of creating a light riding horse then having to go back and turn it into a Polish Arabian?

I started breeding for body weight and genetics before I could afford the BC. I was breeding those horses to increase my population. Now that I have enough tokens to buy the BC, are the ones that had foals only going to be changed to the new breed and BC if I sell their foals back to the game? You can change the BC of any horse you own at any time. It is not a gene so does not follow GMT rules.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Oh, absolutely super. So awesome you thought of that already. Can I change the breed on the portion of my herd that is intended for the new breed likewise if they have foals? I don't remember how I had to do it the first time. If there's a post on how to do this, I can't find it.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2023-11-30 17:20:30

So, I created a new breed (10IV's) and gave it a name (1 IV) but I can't figure out how to make new foundation creates with either of the two BC's I bought.
How can I make the newly purchased BC's available on the Creat-A-Horse page?
