One of my studs gave me a lot of colts that comp tested worse than sire this month. That wasn't the case with the same mares last month. The way I understand it, when you breed two horses in the game the ability they pass down is anywhere within a certain range each time? With a stallion in pasture, do they pass on the same ability for all foals from that specific batch or does it change within that range for each pair? I thought maybe mine just rolled a collective lower number this season but I've never put thought into how it works. Oof I hope this makes sense
