Thank you. Weird, I would have thought hom would mean more.

It means more white. Mutations tend to take away color not add it.Post edited by Ammit at 2024-05-12 02:50:45Need to contact me? Read this first.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

What genes control how big the white/spot area is? I reduced the white but it never changed the size of the black blanket? Something the way a leopard appoloosa would look with W.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2024-05-12 20:59:38

And thank you both.

HOM PATN1 will create a "leopard" Appy , Het Lp will give you a hip blanket with spots, HOM Lp will give little to no spotting but a "larger" Hip blanket. LLP1 and LLP2 will change the sizes of the spots. Dp will also change the sizes of the spots. Most of this is explained in the player Wiki under Appaloosa :

Thank you. When I started years ago, I looked at the guides but didn't understand them. Time to read that wiki.

Ooo, even Het Patn1 makes a big difference. Thank you thank you.
Hmm, I copied and pasted to show his new pattern but the picture that showed up had his old pattern.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2024-05-13 17:31:19 -
