Where did the gray go?
-
This horse was partly gray with DMSP. Her white factor was extensive, so I changed it to medium, and the horse turned white. I changed the white factor back, but the gray never came back. I tried deleting an E then and A, neither of those helped so I undid them. I rerolled the image, she stayed white.

Did you delete all the GMT tattoos or did you link the wrong horse?

Hom splash can cause extensive white, especially with large white factors. But Ammit is right, there are no GMT lab tattoos on that horse that say what you've changed, those are helpful to keep :)Post edited by kgstable at 2024-07-14 13:29:58

I dont know if its the right horse or not, but the reason you cant see any grey is because the horse is a quite light bay (the whole body is red). Normally the legs would be black, but as this horse has splash, the legs are white, making the horse turn all white.ID 195859Thanked by 1Ammit

I took the gmt tattoos off the horse when I undid the gmt. She's back with the same genetics she started out with. So shouldn't she be back to having gray?
Is the gray gone for good? I tried to take off a chn but it wouldn't let me.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2024-07-14 17:31:24 -
Next time leave the tattoos, please. They provide context and help us understand what you did. Without them, there is not much we can say.
Maribo is 100% correct by the way. You should breed the agouti gene out of your chinchilla herd since it seems to cause you all sorts of confusion and frustration.Post edited by Ammit at 2024-07-14 20:12:33Need to contact me? Read this first.

What gene is agouti please?
I did read through the genetics guide a while back, but 90% of it went over my head.
I think since I have so few, I should drop the chinchilla-DMSP horses. That's probably the easiest way to solve the problem.Post edited by OopsDotCom at 2024-07-14 20:39:25 -
Agouti causes bay. It's the A gene. You just need to remove A.Post edited by Ammit at 2024-07-14 21:27:53Need to contact me? Read this first.

It does. You just have cached images.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Last time I cleaned my cache it took out all my saved passwords so I'm reluctant to do it again :))
-
That's because you selected the option to do that. You only need to clear images. You never have to remove your saved passwords to clear your cache. You should not need to clear it though. A good browser refresh normally fixed cashed images.Post edited by Ammit at 2024-07-15 21:36:30Need to contact me? Read this first.

Thank you. I didn't know that, I just knew you should do it regularly.

I almost never clear my cache personally. I have not found anything on the game I needed to do it with. A page refresh works fine for me.Need to contact me? Read this first.
