Futurity Locking Question

    Hello all:
    I haven't used it previously, so I'm curious as to the rules pertaining to futurity locking. When I try to lock them, I get a message stating that almost all are ineligible, and I'm not sure why. Is there any info on the futurity regulations anywhere, or does someone know what's going on? Thanks.

    Foals are eligible for futurity locking if: (1) they are the same era as their sire, and (2) their sire has never been owned by you. The point of locking them is to ensure that they will not be accidentally sold back to, and thus removed from, the game.
