I’m so sorry. Good thing you have your furkids

I was recently fired too. Out of every job i had this one was the worst. I loved working with animals and helping them feel better but the staff i worked with were beyond childish. They were young, didnt want to do much work and did alot of talking bad behind eachothers backs. It got to a point where if i was doing something project wise so the doctors would see my efforts they would go behind me and mess things up on purpose. I was once around when they were laughing about doing it. There was one who even when she was in the wrong and she knew it she would threaten to punch whoever she was mad at infront of the group of girls. I worked former law enforcement so lots of self defense training ,and was sooo waiting for her to actually do it i was really hoping she would. The biggest problem of them all were the doctors. They had favorites "which was the young girl who likes to threaten people" and they had the people they didnt really care for. So the people they favored got to not follow rules, had the highest pay check, and didnt need to do hardly any work ,but the people who they didnt care for were constantly yelled at about things not getting done to its fullest potential or to their standards, all had to work the weekends, were not allowed to have phones or take pictures, if you were trying to make up any time and took short lunches you would be wrote up for any of the above issues. I tried so hard to stick it out because in the begining it wasnt so bad, it wasnt till a few years later they hired the two girls who started this whole negativity mess and the doctors are blind by it all. On my 4th year anniversary they let me go with "it wasnt working out" along with other employees who did do their jobs that they didnt care for. Its been 4 months and still trying to get a job. I get interveiws but as soon as they go to do job reference thats when i dont hear back from the jobs. Never in my life have i ever had a hard time getting a job. Im to a point i may ask a friend whonowns her buisness to call and do a job reference and see what is exactly being said that is turning jobs away. Wldmstnglvr please know you are not alone. I am very sorry your going through this and been mistreated by a company youve put all your time and effort into for years! You deserve a better job with better manager to work for! I hope something good comes your way soon, and i hope your sisters pony makes it out okay! Colic can be scary for sure!

so sorry to hear that. it is very upsetting and maddening at the same time. i was fired too from a job that i put a lot of hard work in fixing alot of payroll issues. i was pissed off for a long time and bitter.

but i discovered where one door closes, another one opens to a better place.

keep looking for that other door, it is open already for you. you just have to find it!
