Forgive my newbie question

l just upgraded to level 5 (because l am broke lol) but see nothing different (cash) after hitting the upgrade button. Help?

Try logging out with the log out button at the bottom of the navigation bar, then logging back in. That will usually activate any new upgrades. As for your bank balance, I'm not sure, but I think that the increased base pay will take effect at the next payday (Sunday) rather than immediately.
