My foster son

He's in the hospital in Vancouver, possibly for a long time, and it is out of my reach. I don't have a car or drive, and we no longer have a bus route, so I can't get to him. I'm just numb. He's waiting on a lung transplant, and has just been diagnosed with osteoporosis. I don't know what to say, what to do. He's been avoiding talking about it. I don't know if I should let it be and wait for him to be ready to talk, or try to draw him out.
