I am trying to get back into the game after I don't even know how long of being gone.

Life has been nuts. We moved into a new house at the beginning of last December, and during an early Spring storm, a huge tree fell on the house. Both our car and camping trailer were damaged as well. Then a couple months later, another storm hit and caused more damage. Then a couple months after that, the house was hit by lightning and busted a bunch of water pipes. The damage from the first 2 storms is finally fixed, but we are still dealing with water damage.

I also just started riding again. I rode from the time I was 7 until 25 when my oldest daughter was born. As a newly wed collage student and young mom, I had to sell my gelding due to time constraints and financial issues. I have not been near a horse in almost 13 years; until a couple weeks ago. I have had 2 lessons so far. I feel like a beginner again. After so long away, plus multiple pregnancies and other surgeries, my strength, coordination, and balance is not what it was. I'm both excited and nervous to get back in the saddle. I've forgotten a lot more than I realized.
