How do I untack my horse?
  • I just bought a new horse and it seems like the previous owner bought every piece of tack and every type of grooming possible and dumped it on this horse. The poor thing looks buried under a big pile of stuff. I keep going to his private tack box and clicking on the "Untack" button, but nothing changes. I have tried going to each piece individually and clicking on the "Remove This Item" button, but that doesn't work either. I hate the way his coat is clipped, hooves blackened, and tail cut too--but I can't change any of it.

He looks awful. What am I doing wrong?

  • Thank you for responding so quickly.

I've not heard the term "reroll".

Do you mean renew his page? I've tried that, and gotten the message "Horse Updated", but nothing has changed.

I've also tried opening his page in other tab, with the same result.

  • Just post the link to the horse and I can do it for you. It is part of the IV Manager system but I can do it for you too. B-)

  • Here he is. I don't mean to embarrass his previous owner, but this just isn't my style. I prefer the "natural look".

    Thanks.

  • Thanks, Ammit. He looks much better now. I know it sounds silly, but I don't like to turn off my computer and leave my horses with their show equipment on. They can't possibly sleep comfortably wearing their saddles, bridles, etc!
