Breeding season now lasts for two real life months. Breeding officially ends on the 28th of the second month of the season. For example, this breeding season officially opened to members on September 2nd. This breeding season will officially end on October 28th. From October 28th to October 31st, trophies will go out and the server gets a bit of a break. The next season will open to members on November 2nd and will end December 28th.

Around the 14th of November, any eligible mares you have in your pastures will be bred automatically, provided there is a stallion (or stallions) also in the pasture to breed with. If you have any foals you want to keep, you must remove them from their pastures by December 27th, as they are automatically sold on the 28th, at the end of breeding season. There is no way to recover foals accidentally left in the pasture and sold, so make sure you take them out (many people remove their foals many days/weeks ahead of time).

So to break it down:
* New breeding seasons start in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November.
* Breeding season last two real life months, beginning on the 2nd of the first month and lasting until the 28th of the second month.
* From the 28th of the second month to the end of that month, breeding is "turned off."
* Pasture foals are born on the 14th of the first month.
* Pasture foals are removed and sold on the 28th of the second month.
