Showing Prospect?
-
I just bred one of my Gold mares to a Star stallion. Their foal passed Consistency and Mare Advice, but for Showing Aptitude Test it is saying (Showing Prospect) next to mare. She may be the last foal from this mare, so I really don't want to spay her. If she passed the Mare Advice and could be bred, does the Showing Aptitude just mean she would be better showing?
Here's the Filly:

Her ability to show is much higher than her breeding ability. She my not even paper gold.

Okay, would it be wrong for me to try to breed her to paper her and then spay her after?

It's your horse do what you want :)Need to contact me? Read this first.

she/her -
If it would be "wrong", keeping her intact wouldn't be an option. Like Ammit said, it's your horse and you can do whatever you please with her. :) If it were me, since she has good parents, I would be interested in seeing what she would paper. And if she doesn't paper like her dam, you can then snip her without always wondering (or keep her intact if you wish). But that's just me.

That's what I think I'm gonna do, since her dam and sire are Gold and Star. I can always snip later on.HJ1 ID #: 211869
