Trophies are awarded to horses that are in first place in the various leaderboards of the Breeding Clubs on the 28th of the month at the close of the breeding season.

If you click on Breeders Clubs in the Community section of the left menu bar, you will find all the Era and Color/Pattern based clubs, with lists of your horses that are eligible for each one. There are a number of lists in each--top breeding stallions and mares, top PT scores for the year's foals, top showing points for foundations, 2nd gen horses, and lined horses (3rd gen and up). A horse may be entered in up to 4 of these clubs, depending on how many it is eligible for. If it could be placed in more than 4, you have the option to choose which ones.

When more than 25 horses qualify for placement on a list, the top one gets a trophy ad the next 9 get ribbons on the 28th of the month. These are displayed on the records tab of the horse permanently, above the list of show records.
