My "liver red roan" Freaky Friday mare is not listed in the drop down menu to join the chestnut breeder's club. A quick browse of other liver red roans shows that they aren't in the club either, despite having been entered in others.

No red roans can be entered in the chestnut club. They have to have the word "chestnut" in their color to be entered, if I remember correctly.

Maribo is correct. Grullos don't show up in the black breeders club either.

They are eligible for the roan breeder's club.

It makes sense because in real life, roans cannot be entered in IBRA either... At least last I checked, they couldn't be.

Bottom line: if the name doesn't have "chestnut" in it, they can't go in the chestnut club. :)

It's because we have to have some limits. Otherwise every gold champ, palomino, cremello etc would be in the club. It's supposed to be for chestnuts only.
