According to your public member page, you have a total of 3,982 points. You showing bonus should be 50% of that or 1991 hbs. (Of course that includes any points your horses gained today, so that might not be what you were paid at the weekly rollover last night.

Are you sure it's not your profit that is in the negative numbers? That can certainly happen, and if you have a smallish stable you may not have gathered enough points yet to overcome any losses from prize money being less than entry fees for horses that don't place in the top half of a class.

Stable size plays a big role in making the showing bonus work. I've been playing the game for 4 years and have just over 3500 horses in my barns. My points/showing bonus/profits data looks like this at the moment:

You currently hold 1519738.5 points.

You earn a 759869 hb's weekly bonus from showing.
This week you earned a net profit of -11,531 hb's.

I have put this gelding now showing at top of 7W on buddy sale for you for 500 hbs. He currently has 2,439 points and will add about 1,219 hbs to your bonus. He is 16, so you should get at least 2 years from him, more if you're lucky with him. He's leveled off, so he's not gaining much at all with his training, but he might just nudge over into 8L. If that happens, just put him in a non-showing barn and let him continue to add to your bonus.
