Very new breeding help please

First of all hello,
I purchased a stallion that carried splash gene. Wanted to breed him to my mares ( one Appaloosa) other red roan. It says no mares are able to be bred to him. Could someone explain this. Thank you -
Check their age. Mares can only be bred to if they are 4 years or older and can only be bred to 1 per breeding season. Seasons are 2 real life months long. Also, I'd advise to use the free Mare Advice. It's a free way to let you know if a mare is good for breeding.Post edited by Alianne at 2015-11-24 20:53:10I breed Drafts and star horses :D

There is a status B next to his name.. And these mares are of age just not eligible for him. What does the status b mean?

It means he's up for public breeding, meaning anyone can breed to him. You can change that in the Control Panel tab.I breed Drafts and star horses :D

Ok.. Its about my mares . they are currently entered in shows .. So I cannot breed them?

You can breed when they are showing but one is too young and the other has already been bred it looks like.
