Breeding with embryos
-
I think i know this answer but want to make sure as this is my first time with using eggs and embryos. I know it says it wont count agianst the mares foal count but is the surrogate only to have the embryo at breeding season or can she have her own foal as well.
-
The surrogate mare will be already bred for the season. She will not be able to have a foal.

OK that is what I thought thanks.

You are welcome.

Quite a few people keep mares that don't fit their breeding program (either because of quality or color) specifically to use for embryo transfer (ET). If you put a "z" in front of their name, they'll show up at the top of your ET list in the breeding lab :)
