Hi, I'm having some issues with creating my first tattoo. Any advice?

You need to give a little more detail than that. :)

Technical issues? Problems coming up with a design? Difficulty drawing it?

Simple is easier because you've only got 25 pixels in each direction to work with. Generally, bright gaudy colors look better when used in the corners instead of on the horse's body. However, the green used for Gael4ce's triple spiral looks great on any horse color. *G*

Medium light gray is another color that will show up on most any horse :)

If you have access to a program like GIMP or photoshop, you can convert any image to a pixelized version of itself and use that for a reference for the design, to give yourself an idea of where pixels should go to get the effect you're looking for.
