So Dp came up on the RGS!

Now that I know for sure about some of my horses, I thought I'd start a thread for CONFIRMED Dp horses that do not have "liver" or "chocolate" in their color name.

Then I had to split the thread up because I have a ton of Dp horses.

So please post your bays and browns only here. Roans and duns are fine, but please no creams, champagnes, or silvers.
But only if you know for a fact that they are Dp!
Please include whether they're known heterozygous or homozygous and how you know. If you're planning to GMT them, please use a saved image rather than a link.

Redwood is a Cherry Drop that I added sooty to, so he's hom sooty, hom DP, wild bay

You also can do a foal search from my deceased foundation stallion FS Voronwe 1 because he was brown and homo DP, so every foal of his had 1 copy of DP, minimum.

Super cool thread! Let me throw some goofy ones at ya lol all DP is confirmed because I added it from the RGS. I can do some of my Bays if y’all are interested too.

So this girl is standard brown with het DP. You can see it in her face because she doesn’t have any pangere

TFR1 Stratosphere

This girl is brown with het DP too but the roaning lightens the body and Sooty+ is lending the red-ish tinge to her face

TFR1 Shiny Apple

This boy is only het DP with no Sooty +. But he has one copy of nd1. He would be a bit darker if he didn’t have that lol. The Brindle is throwing it off a little as well.

And this guy is het DP too! But In this case the two copies of nd1 the Sooty+ and silver make him look more similar to a buckskin
