If anybody has 3ed generation straws that have something flashy or GP I will greatly take them to breed to my latest mares when breeding starts up again. All my studs are foundations or 2nd generation. Thanks guys

To be honest, you'll be hard pressed to find anyone wanting to let their stallion near the W4 with that pedigree. But you might still.

I'm new here, but I would assume it's because her parents are less than impressive. Her sire is B papered, and her dam is yellow papered. I've had foundation mares paper red, and only keep A papered 2G studs, and I don't really have much that anyone's hunting for.

I'd keep them, personally, because they look like they're doing good in points right now. But you'll need to decide where your breeding program is going to assess whether they're worth keeping to breed.

To be honest I'm not a fan of the W4 mare. Personally I wouldn't bred with anything that has a yellow papered dam (esp when its a second gen).

I bred the other mare & sold her because she papered red, I prefer my lined mares to paper blue. Foundations must paper at least red for me to keep them. I am just as picky with my studs, my lined studs must be at least an A. I do have a couple of B papered foundies.

I kept her to breed for fun. She is not that bad. Her dam was but she is not.

I sold her to as I thought you could have some fun getting some cool looking ponies from her. In my opinion she is a mid high red and at the right spot for average third gen mare from c papered and regular create lines. If you decide to not keep her I would gladly take her back :D

Still I bred her to, shiny keep around for fun and make shiny show ponies, studs.

Sure, like I said I only sold her because she is red papered & I prefer blue papered. This is her foal by APP A Touch More http://www.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=3088073, I think SMA snipped her.

I breed for quality above colour so to me yes she's that bad. She's basically foundation - 2nd gen quality wise at a guess. I'm very strict with quality and the main reason I keep everything in house is things like this. I would never keep a B out of a B for example, whether he tested superior or not. And as for yellow... well no way their progeny would be kept intact. But hey breed as you wish, it's not like I share anyway! lol. Well only with a few people.
